Location Information
Vancouver is located in the southwest corner of Canada in the province of British Columbia, at about 49° Latitude and 123° Longitude, next to the Pacific Ocean.
Vancouver is surrounded by water on three sides and overlooked by the Coast Range - mountains that rise abruptly to more than 1,500 m. Its climate is one of the mildest in Canada. Temperatures average 3°C in January and 18°C in July. Vancouver's average annual precipitation is 1,219 mm. Most rainfall occurs in winter.
Vancouver is known as a city on the leading edge of public policy and planning. We have won numerous awards for innovation. And experts come from all over the world to see how Vancouver has pioneered innovative ways to solve urban issues.

Study Shows School Cleanliness Affects Learning
Entitled Cleanliness and Learning in Higher Education, the national study of college students was based around the five levels of clean identified in APPA’s Custodial Staffing Guidelines for Educational Facilities. More information.The final report is available free to APPA members and for $30 for nonmembers through the APPA bookstore
