This online, self-paced program is designed with the intent to provide an understanding and awareness of what is essential to educational facilities professionals who administer, operate, and maintain the buildings created by architects and designers. Five (5) American Institute of Architects (AIA) LUs will be earned upon successful completion of the program. There is no time limit on the course and you may take the quiz as many times as is necessary until a score of 80% is achieved. Participants are given access to the latest theory, understanding, and competency needed in today’s educational facilities management profession through the use of APPA’s online Body of Knowledge (BoK).

This program is registered with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education Session (CES) for continuing professional education. As such, it does not include content that may be deemed or construed to be an approval or endorsement by AIA of any material of construction, or any method or manner of handling, using, distributing, or dealing in any material or product.
The cost for this program is $125. Fees paid for this program can be applied toward the $550 cost of the Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP) certification if you qualify. For more information please see the sidebar for details.
