Webinar: Breaking barriers: How technology can lower research carbon

The University of Maryland Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology Research (IBBR) is transforming to reduce emissions and energy cost and improve reliability over a 10-year horizon – as a pilot and a showcase for reaching the University’s climate goals. Innovative technologies foster conservation, improved lab performance through cogeneration and renewable energy – much of which complement the Institutes research mission. Discuss: IBBR’s approach where other research campuses have resisted; planning and implementation actions; performance metrics; and lessons learned.
