ISO/DIS 41001 Facility management – Management systems – Requirements with guidance for use was published April 24, 2018. The “System Management” standard will address facilities management leadership, performance metrics and evaluation, and other areas in which APPA’s own programs and services are widely known and used. The work group has been officially closed with the publication of the ISO 41001:2018 standard.

ISO 41011:2017 – Vocabulary – was published in April 2017. This document describes the characteristics of facility management and are intended for use in both the private and public sectors.
ISO 41012:2017 – Facility management – Guidance on strategic sourcing and the developement of agreements was published in April 2017. This document describes the characteristics of facility management and are intended for use in both the private and public sectors.
ISO 41013:2017 – Facility management – Scope, key concepts and benefits was published in April 2017. This document outlines the scope, key concepts and benefits of facility management (FM) and provides context for the use and application of the terms defined in ISO 41001:2017.
