The effect of enhanced facilities has been shown to impact the retention and recruitment of students. But do you know how your facilities program measures up? And against what? As the old saying goes, if you cant measure it, you cant manage it.
APPAs Facilities Management Evaluation Program (FMEP) provides institutions with a customized evaluation conducted by a team of institutional peers across a comprehensive set of criteria. The resulting report consists of feedback and recommended actions which are personalized to each institution and designed to help transform participating educational facilities programs into those worthy of international recognition.
The FMEP is not a cookie-cutter process. Each FMEP is customized and tailored to the specific institution for which it is conducted. The evaluation team is hand-picked so that each institution is evaluated by a select group of peers from campuses sharing similar educational, financial, and physical characteristics.
For a detailed explanation of the FMEP process and the criteria used in the evaluation process, download a PDF of the program brochure (574K file size) or contact Holly Judd at 703-684-1446 ext. 234 or holly@appa.org.
You can also view the self-evaluation outline online.
