John Coggins - BPAC Vice-Chair

John is a seasoned leader in the HVAC and water systems industries, currently serving as the Vice President of Sales at Spirotherm, Inc., a global leader in high-efficiency hydronic system solutions. With over 30 years of experience in business development, John has been instrumental in driving Spirotherm's unprecedented sales growth in North America. His strategic approach emphasizes ongoing personnel development, industry research, quantitative analysis, and strategic planning; all of which have contributed to the company’s ongoing success.

Before his transition to the manufacturing sector, John began his career in the computer information systems field, holding significant roles in Systems Management, Consulting, and Database Administration. This early foundation in technology provided the skills and insights that would later contribute to his success in sales and product management within the manufacturing industry.

John is a graduate of the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree from the Walton College of Business. His professional development is further evidenced by his certification as a Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP), underscoring his commitment to continual growth and expertise.

Throughout his career, John has been an active supporter of professional organizations. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Business Partner Advisory Committee (BPAC). Previously, he served as the Business Partner Liaison to the Board of Directors for the MAPPA Higher-Education Facilities organization from 2011 to 2014. He also shared his knowledge and leadership as a member of the APPA Business Partner Advisory Committee from 2014 to 2017 and participated in the APPA Facility Terms and Definitions Work Group from 2018 to 2019. His dedication to the field and to fostering collaboration within professional communities has made him a respected leader in his industry.
