Dues are calculated using IPEDS data and are valid for a full 365-day cycle. Open to all four-year colleges that have a facilities department and administrator.
Regional membership is required for all four-year colleges. Your APPA region is automatically assigned during the onboarding process.
Community College/Technical College
Open to all two-year community and technical colleges that have a facilities department and administrator.
Regional membership is required for all two-year community and technical colleges. Your APPA region is automatically assigned during the onboarding process.
K-12 School: Public
Open to public K-12 institutions that have a facilities department and administrator.
Regional membership is required for all public K-12 schools. Your APPA region is automatically assigned during the onboarding process.
K-12 School: Independent
Open to independent K-12 institutions that have a facilities department and administrator.

Library/Museum/Educational FM Teams
Open to libraries, museums, and other educational institutions that have a facilities department and administrator.

Business Partner
As the trusted voice in educational facilities, APPA connects your business with professionals dedicated to improving campus infrastructure. Our Business Partner membership creates valuable opportunities for growth and collaboration with decision-makers in the education sector.
System/District Office
University or college systems can join APPA if a facilities officer advises two or more officers from institutions within the same system. The System/District Office Membership is only for central office staff—individual institutions must get their own separate membership.

International
APPA's International Membership is available to institutions outside Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Affiliate
Affiliate Members of APPA include units or departments within educational institutions that are involved in facilities-related work but are not part of the primary facilities management team. This membership also extends to organizations that share an interest in APPA’s mission and activities, as well as not-for-profit organizations engaged in facilities management work.
