CEFP Pricing

CEFP Self Study Course and Exam (getting certified) 

Your registration includes:

  • 180-day access to APPA’s self-paced online learning platform

  • On-demand study resources, including flashcards, practice exams, review sessions, and the Body of Knowledge (BOK) study guide. 

  • Non-Members: $1,310 

  • APPA Members: $550 (or less with regional scholarships - see below) 

Exam Retake 
  • Additional retakes may be purchased for $150, which includes 30 days of renewed access to the Prep Course materials.

  • Additional retakes must be purchased within 30 days of your exam fail date.

APPA provides both virtual and in-person options for an instructor-led CEFP Prep Course.


Renewing Your CEFP Credential

Existing CEFPs demonstrate their ongoing commitment to continuing education and professional development through recertification. Recertification is required every four years. The cost of the recertification process is $350.

Regional Scholarships for Members 

Your APPA region/chapter may provide scholarships to reimburse some or all of your CEFP fees. Contact your Region/Chapter for more information.
