Committee and Commission Charters

• Awards & Recognition Committee Charter

  Maintains the Association Award Policy and selects award recipients. Each region may name one representative.

• Business Partner Advisory Committee Charter

  Advises the Board and staff on Business Partner engagement and programs. Each region may name one representative.

  Adopted May 29, 2026

• Bylaws Committee Charter

  Reviews the bylaws and drafts amendments for Board consideration. Board members only, formed when needed.

  Adopted July 14, 2026

• CEFP Commission Charter

  The independent certifying body for the CEFP credential, with sole authority over certification decisions.

• Finance Committee Charter

  Budget, audit and investment oversight. Board members only, chaired by the Treasurer.

• Nominating Committee Charter

  Runs the annual election cycle, from the call for applications through the slate and results. Each region may name one representative.

• Professional Development Advisory Committee Charter

  Advises on APPA's professional development portfolio. Each region may name one representative.

• Women in Facilities Affinity Group Charter

  Advances the development and leadership representation of women in educational facilities. Open to all APPA members.
