Business Partner Program

Publish your expertise where facilities decision makers are already reading

APPA's Business Partner Whitepaper program provides an exclusive platform for industry leaders to showcase their expertise to a highly engaged audience of facilities professionals. By publishing through APPA's established channels, you gain direct access to decision makers, facility managers, and key stakeholders across the education sector.

Content Standards

To protect the value of this program for readers and partners alike, every whitepaper must meet the following standards before publication.

Editorial focus only

Content must educate, inform, or share expertise relevant to facilities management professionals. No product pitches, sales language, or pricing.

Industry relevance

Topics should connect to trends, challenges, or best practices in educational facilities, not general company news or unrelated services.

Professional format and length

Follow standard whitepaper conventions: an executive summary, clear sections with headers, and data or research to support claims. Typically 1,500 to 3,000 words (roughly four to eight pages), though this can flex based on topic depth.

Sourcing

Claims and statistics should be sourced or attributed. No unverifiable or promotional claims presented as fact.

Review process

All submissions are reviewed by APPA staff before publication to confirm alignment with these standards. Revisions may be requested.

Publication window

Each whitepaper remains live on APPA's platform for six months from its publish date.

About the Partner Section

Each whitepaper may close with a short partner bio. This is the one place company description is welcome, within clear limits:

  • Length. 75 to 100 words.

  • Content. Company name, a brief description of your services, and a single link to your website.

  • Tone. No superlatives, no unverifiable performance claims, and no calls to action or promotional language. This is an introduction, not an advertisement.

Pricing

Whitepaper publication is priced by Business Partner membership tier.

Business Partner Tier Whitepaper Publication
Bronze $1,800
Silver $1,700
Gold $1,600
Platinum $1,500
Non-member rate $2,000

Pricing reflects APPA Business Partner membership level. Contact the APPA Business Partner team to confirm your tier and reserve a publication slot.
