CEFP Recertification

Maintaining the Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP) credential requires ongoing education and recertification. CEFP holders must recertify every four year while earning a combination of 120 points from four (4) continuing education categories including Employment, Education, Leadership and Research/Publication. A minimum of 40 points must be earned from the Educational category.

Recertification may be completed at any time within the four (4) years preceeding the expiration of your current CEFP credential. Regardless of when the recertification process is completed, the CEFP credential will be extended four (4) years from the end of the current certification period. (NOTE: Extensions cannot be "stacked" — you must be in the current recertification period to extend your certification)

A completed CEFP Recertification Spreadsheet must be completed and submitted with this purchase. You will be prompted to upload the completed spreadsheet as part of your checkout process. The APPA Credentialing Board reserves the right to audit and request verification for items submitted via the CEFP Recertification Spreadsheet.
