Introducing the APPA Community

APPA Community is your new home for connecting with the people who understand your work best: fellow educational facilities professionals from across the country. Built on a robust Higher Logic platform, this online space brings the value of in person conversations to your everyday routine, whenever and wherever you need it.

Connect with educational facilities professionals from your region, your chapter, and beyond. Ask questions, share resources, and find the people who can help you solve your next challenge.

Before launch

Four things to do now

Your APPA member record becomes your community profile on day one. A few minutes now means people can find you when the doors open.

Step 1

Check your details

Confirm your name, title, and institution on your appa.org profile. That is what the directory will show.

Step 2

Add a photo

Profiles with a photo get more replies. It also helps people recognize you from conferences and chapter meetings.

Step 3

Watch for the invite

Your launch email arrives at the address on your member record, so make sure it is one you read.

Step 4

Bring a question

Think of one problem on your desk right now. It makes a good first post, and someone has solved it before.

No new account to create

If you are an APPA member, you already have access. Sign in with the same appa.org credentials you use today, and your membership carries over automatically.

Questions, answered

When does APPA Community go live?

This fall. We will announce the exact date by email and on appa.org before the doors open.

Who can join?

APPA members, including everyone at an institutional member campus. Not a member yet? Explore membership to get access at launch.

Do I need a separate login?

No. You will sign in with your existing appa.org credentials, and your profile is built from your member record.

What happens to the discussion lists I use now?

Details on how current lists and groups move over will be shared with the launch announcement.

Can I take part on my phone?

Yes. The community works in any browser, so you can read and reply from a phone, tablet, or desktop.
