Committee Update

As part of APPA’s 2025 strategic initiatives, our committees are undergoing restructuring. Roles will be added, expanded, and assessed to better support our mission and members.

Committee Member Expectations

Committee members should bring enthusiasm for their work and actively support their team and vice president. Full participation is expected, including:

• Monthly calls and subcommittee work
• In-person meetings as needed

Members should have institutional support for their involvement and regularly report updates to their regional board. They’re also encouraged to present at regional conferences and contribute to newsletters or websites.

If unable to attend a meeting, members should arrange for a substitute through their regional board president. Members are also responsible for helping onboard their replacements and staying engaged in their own professional development.
