CEFP Pricing

Your registration

Registration includes:

• 90-day access to APPA’s self-paced online learning prep course (via the LMS platform in Member Compass). 

• On-demand study resources, including flashcards, practice exams, review sessions, and the Body of Knowledge (BOK) study guide. 

• A Free Second Chance Option to retake the course and exam if you do not pass the first attempt. 

• Non-Members: $1,310 

• APPA Members: $550 (or less with regional subsidies — see below) 

Exam Retake 

• The CEFP course includes one Free Second Chance if you do not pass the exam on your first attempt. 

• Additional retakes may be purchased for $150, which includes 30 days of renewed access to the learning course. 

• Retakes must be purchased within 30 days of your exam fail date. 

Regional Subsidies for Members 

APPA regions subsidize the cost of the CEFP course and exam for their Institutional and Affiliate members. 

• Subsidized member pricing generally ranges from $400–$550, depending on the region. 

• Preauthorization is required for all regional subsidies (supervisor approval may be requested). 

• Regional subsidies are limited, non-transferable, and non-refundable.
