Meet the two dynamic professionals who recently joined APPA 👇

Jessica Gorman joins as our Event Coordinator

With more than 25 years in the events and hospitality space, Jessica is a seasoned pro at turning complex logistics into unforgettable experiences. Her career spans everything from luxury corporate summits and nonprofit initiatives to large-scale festivals and weddings for thousands. She holds a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) designation and brings a fierce eye for detail, a flair for innovation, and a steady hand under pressure. At APPA, she’s already jumping in with both feet to elevate our event programming and ensure that every touchpoint reflects the caliber of our community.

Erika Balm steps in as our new Administrative Coordinator

Erika came aboard in May, bringing with her a decade of experience supporting finance leadership, plus a rich background in marketing for collegiate athletics, Olympic sports, and healthcare. She now anchors APPA’s executive logistics while offering cross-functional support to our membership, marketing, and accounting teams. Erika is the kind of person who catches typos no one else sees, has an encyclopedic knowledge of Broadway musicals, and somehow still finds time to cheer on her three kids in everything from school plays to sports.

We’re thrilled to have Jessica and Erika on board. Their skills, creativity, and collaborative spirit are already shaping the next chapter of APPA—and we couldn’t be more energized about what’s ahead.
