The Koshka Foundation for Safe Schools is happy to announce “Connecting the Dots”, a one-day event bringing together practitioners focused on increasing resiliency and school and community safety.
This symposium is intended for school administrators, threat assessment team members within K-12 and campus settings, campus law enforcement and security personnel, School Resource Officers, school and community mental health providers, survivor/victim advocates and other safety stakeholders. Speakers will present on violence prevention in both K-12 and higher education community settings.
Topics to include:
- Crisis leadership and planning
- Threat assessment and management, example case studies
- Recommendations in building long-term recovery plans following trauma
- Research findings on averted school violence
