GPP Webinar: Local Government Clean Energy Trends and Resources

Join EPA’s Green Power Partnership on July 8 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Eastern Time for a webinar examining clean energy trends in local governments, as well as resources.

Cities are a core driver of climate change, accounting for more than 70 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions and more than two-thirds of energy consumption. Because of this, cities have the opportunity to be on the forefront of tackling climate change by leading the charge to renewable energy. In fact, more and more cities in the United States have set and started acting upon their own clean energy goals.

This webinar will highlight local government clean energy trends across the United States and showcase the Renewables Accelerator’s Local Government Renewables Action Tracker along with other tools and resources to help cities move forward on procuring clean energy themselves.
