University Estates: The Next Chapter (AUDE 2022 Conference)

At the AUDE Conference 2022: ‘University estates: The next chapter’, we’ll be steering a course out of endless crisis mode by examining the tools – both personal and professional – that we have to hand to help us. We’ll be thinking about our mental health, our resilience, and the leadership skills we’ll need ourselves and within our teams. We’ll be thinking about adaptability and innovation. And we’ll look at the future of our campuses in the light of what we’ve learnt during Covid-time.

Our challenge is to develop campuses that students want to come to, that remain beacons for great teaching and research, that interact powerfully with industry and enhance graduate employability, and perhaps more than anything are safe and adaptable no matter how the story of the pandemic unfurls, no matter what changes in the digital space occur, no matter the changing expectations of students for their university careers.
