Nominations are opening for the 2027 APPA Business Partner Advisory Committee (BPAC).

The Business Partner Advisory Committee provides an important opportunity for our Business Partner community to have a voice in APPA and help strengthen how we engage, collaborate, and create value for both Business Partners and institutional members.
Our Three Core Objectives
The Committee's work is centered around three core objectives:
- Enhance Collaboration and Communication: Strengthen dialogue, trust, idea sharing, and alignment between APPA and its Business Partners.
- Drive Member Value through Resource and Solution Sharing: Help identify and promote solutions, tools, resources, and best practices that address the needs of educational facilities.
- Promote Innovation and Technology Adoption: Encourage new technologies and innovative approaches through emerging trends, successful case studies, pilot programs, and industry expertise.
Who Makes Up the Committee?
The strength of the Committee comes from the variety of perspectives around the table. The charter calls for representation across different facilities industry sectors, company sizes, geographic regions, and levels of APPA involvement, along with an understanding of the challenges and priorities facing educational facilities. Each of APPA's six regions may also select a representative, and the overall Committee consists of a minimum of four and maximum of twelve members, with the Business Partner Director serving as Chair.
We are looking for Business Partners who are engaged, collaborative, forward-thinking, and passionate about advancing educational facilities. Whether you have been involved with APPA for years or are newer to the community, we want to hear from Business Partners interested in contributing their experience, ideas, and industry perspective.
Nominations will be accepted November 9, 2026 through November 30, 2026. Following the close of nominations, candidates will be reviewed and the 2027 Committee will be selected in December, with new members ready to begin in January 2027.
