Professional Bio

Daniel is currently working as the Director of Facilities Operations and Maintenance at the University of West Georgia. Daniel has been working in a Facilities career for over 22 years starting at Gordon State College in 2002. Daniel earned the APPA Certified Educational Facilities Professional certification in 2016 immediately after completing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Georgia Southwestern University. In 2006, Daniel also earned an Associate of Applied Science in Technology Management from Gordon College along with a Diploma in Air Conditioning Technology 2006. Before starting work at Gordon College in 2002, Daniel completed Local 613’s I.B.E.W. training program as a Journey Wireman and has also completed the Ministerial Internship Program earning credits with Lee University. Daniel is married to Tracy and they are enjoying their home in the woods in Carroll County which is still only a 10-minute drive to work. When not occupied with operating and maintaining the UWG campus, Daniel focuses on playing the guitar, leading worship, and teaching the Bible at Bethel Campground or wherever else he is invited.
