Kevin Block

I have been at UMass Lowell as the Grounds Operations Manager since January of 2022. I am a Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP) through APPA and a certified Arborist through the state of Massachusetts and the International Society of Arboriculture. I have a master’s degree in sustainability and environmental management from Harvard University, as well as 15+ years of supervisory responsibility in grounds management, arboriculture, horticulture, and conservation. Prior to UMass Lowell I was the Grounds Manager for Phillips Academy in Andover, MA; Managed multiple conservation properties for Trustees of Reservations in North Andover, MA, and was a horticulturist at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University in Boston.
