Shawna Code

Shawna is an adjunct professor of architecture at Weber State University, where she has worked since 1996. Prior to teaching in the architecture program, she was a senior leader in the Facilities Management department, with her most recent position being Director of Facilities Business Services. Shawna has a master's degree in business administration and an undergraduate degree in organizational communication. She holds the following certifications: CEFP, PMP, PHR, and SHRM-CP.

Shawna has been active with the APPA organization for decades. She primarily teaches in the Leadership Academy; however she also teaches the Supervisor's Toolkit and Invest in Success programs. She is currently serving as a member of APPA's professional development committee and is a member of APPA's credentialing board.
