This session explores how to break the cycle of expensive emergency replacements and declining morale by using data to tell a more compelling story to stakeholders. Key topics include:

  1.  The Cost of Inaction: Quantifying the hidden expenses of reactive maintenance, such as overtime pay, emergency shipping, and excessive energy consumption.
  2. Overcoming Barriers: Moving away from static spreadsheets and unnecessary PMs toward modern tools and accurate asset inventories.
  3. A 5-Step Success Framework: A roadmap covering inventory and assessment, rigorous prioritization, and making a financial case rooted in risk mitigation.
  4. Building Lasting Credibility: Establishing a "no surprises" rule with leadership through quarterly updates and live CMMS data integration.
  5. Aligning with the Mission: Demonstrating how well-maintained facilities directly impact student/staff retention and performance.

Our goal is that you will walk away with the roadmap to transition from a "wish list" perception to a transparent, data-backed strategy that earns trust and secures necessary funding.
