Conference Theme: Leading Today and Designing Tomorrow:
SRAPPA invites you to submit a program proposal for the 2026 SRAPPA Annual Meeting and Tradeshow, an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a dynamic professional development experience for facilities professionals across the educational community.
The Annual Meeting and Tradeshow brings together facilities leaders and decision-makers to engage in meaningful discussions, share effective strategies, and address the evolving challenges facing facilities operations today and in the future.
Our goal is to offer programming that meets the diverse needs and interests of professionals representing all aspects of educational facilities operations at public and private institutions, including:
- Universities and Colleges
- Community Colleges
- K–12 Institutions
We welcome proposals that deliver innovative, comprehensive, and inclusive perspectives on the issues impacting facilities professionals. Sessions should be practical, forward-thinking, and aligned with the conference theme, Leading Today and Designing Tomorrow.
The deadline for proposal submissions is June 30, 2026.
Speaker Registration Requirements:
- Business Partner (BP) speakers (2) must be registered as either an event exhibitor/sponsor attendee or as a speaker.
- If your program is selected, registration instructions will be provided.
- Educational Institute (EDU) speakers (2) must be registered as an attendee or speaker.
- If your program is selected, registration instructions will be provided.
- Institutional registration opens March 1, 2026.

- Title: 3 to 5 words in length
- Abstract: 5 to 7 sentences
- Three learning outcomes that support the conference theme
- Contact information for all proposed presenters (limit 4) to include:
- Full name and title, name of institution/company
- Phone number/email
- Short bio with image for each presenter (for session introductions)
- Please be mindful that submissions should be educational in nature, not a company-specific “sales pitch.” Successful proposals are related to a project, program, process, service, method, idea, etc.
- Please share this “Call for Papers” with others in your organization who are interested in presenting but may not be on the SRAPPA contact list.

Women in Facilities Management

The Women in Higher Education Facilities Management program is designed to empower, connect, and elevate women professionals across facilities, planning, administration, and campus operations. As the industry evolves, this dedicated program creates a platform to address the unique challenges and opportunities women face while advancing leadership, technical expertise, and career growth.
Through a combination of panel discussions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities, the program highlights the contributions of women leaders across higher education institutions. Key topics include leadership development, career navigation, mentorship, work-life integration, and strategies for fostering inclusive and equitable workplaces.
A central focus of the program is building a strong pipeline of future leaders by promoting mentorship, sponsorship, and peer-to-peer learning.
This dedicated program aims to strengthen professional networks, inspire innovation, and support the continued advancement of women in higher education facilities management that creates lasting impact across campuses and communities.
